Product & Use
How do I use Freshfeels wax?
Simply heat the beads in a wax warmer until melted, apply a layer in the direction of hair growth, let it cool, and remove in one quick pull. No strips needed.
How long should I let my wax dry?
The wax takes about 15 seconds to set. It’s ready to remove once the surface looks matte and feels firm, not sticky.
Can I use Freshfeels on sensitive areas?
Yes, our formula is gentle enough for bikini, underarms, and face, while still strong enough to tackle coarse hair.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
At least ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip properly. If your hair is longer, trim it down to this length first for the most comfortable and effective results.
How long do results last?
Most people enjoy smooth skin for 2 to 5 weeks after waxing. The exact time depends on your personal hair growth cycle and how long you have been waxing. The more consistently you wax, the finer and slower your hair tends to grow back over time.
Does waxing hurt?
Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers but Freshfeels is designed to be less harsh on the skin while gripping the hair effectively.
Can beginners use Freshfeels?
Absolutely. Our wax is made to be easy to use at home, whether it’s your first time or your hundredth.
What makes Freshfeels different from other waxes?
Our signature blue wax doesn’t just remove hair. It exfoliates as it works, leaving skin smoother, softer, and ready to glow in one step.
If Freshfeels is self-exfoliating, do I still need to exfoliate before waxing?
Yes — gentle exfoliation before waxing helps remove excess buildup on the skin’s surface, so the wax can grip each hair more effectively and reduce the chance of breakage or irritation. Freshfeels then takes it a step further: our skin-exfoliating formula removes the remaining layer of dead skin during waxing, leaving you with smoother results, fewer ingrowns, and skin that’s ready to absorb your favourite body lotions.
Pre-Care
How should I prepare my skin before waxing?
Exfoliate 24 hours before, make sure skin is clean and dry, and let hair grow to at least ¼ inch (about a grain of rice) for best results.
What should I use to exfoliate before waxing?
Use a gentle scrub, exfoliating mitt, or a body lotion with mild AHAs (like glycolic or lactic acid). Exfoliate 1–2 days before waxing to lift dead skin and help the wax grip better.
Can I wax if I have lotion or oils on my skin?
No — skin should be product-free before waxing so the wax can grip the hair properly.
What should I avoid?
Skip harsh scrubs, retinoids, and strong acids right before or after waxing, as they can irritate the skin.
How can I make bikini waxing less painful?
Bikini waxing can feel intense, especially if it’s your first time. Freshfeels is designed to grip hair, not skin, which helps reduce irritation but here are a few ways to make the process easier:
- Trim first: Hair should be around ¼ inch (about a grain of rice) for best grip.
- Exfoliate 48 hours before: Smooths skin so the wax pulls cleanly.
- Stay hydrated & avoid caffeine/alcohol: Both can make skin more sensitive.
- Take an OTC pain reliever: Ibuprofen 30–60 minutes before (follow label instructions).
- Use smaller sections: Apply wax in smaller patches for more control and comfort.
- Breathe & relax: Tension can make the pull feel sharper.
Some discomfort is normal, but these steps can make bikini waxing more manageable and the smoothness lasts weeks, not hours.
Should I take a pain reliever before waxing?
Totally optional. Some people do, but Freshfeels is designed to be gentle on the skin.
Aftercare
What should I avoid right after waxing?
Skip hot showers, saunas, workouts, or direct sun for the first 24 hours. Your skin needs a little rest.
How do I soothe my skin after waxing?
Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe gel to calm the skin and lock in hydration.
Can I completely avoid ingrown hairs?
While no method can guarantee zero ingrowns, you can greatly reduce them with the right routine. Ingrowns usually happen when dead skin blocks new hairs from growing out. That’s why exfoliation is key.
With Freshfeels, you get built-in exfoliation during your wax, which already lowers the risk.
how do i avoid ingrown hairs?
Exfoliate regularly, keep your skin hydrated, and avoid tight clothing right after waxing. Freshfeels helps by gently exfoliating as you wax, but consistent aftercare is key to keeping ingrowns away.
When can I exfoliate again?
Wait 2–3 days, then exfoliate 2–3 times per week to keep skin smooth and prevent ingrown hairs.
Safety & Ingredients
Is Freshfeels wax safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! Freshfeels is formulated with skin safety in mind. Our blue wax is gentle, low-temperature, and suitable for sensitive areas. However, if you have very reactive skin, we recommend doing a small patch test 24 hours before your first use.

Freshfeels wax is made with high-quality resins, soothing natural oils, and a hint of fragrance. It’s free from harsh chemicals like parabens, formaldehyde, and phthalates. Click here to view the full ingredient list.
Is your wax vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. Freshfeels does not contain animal-derived ingredients and is never tested on animals.
Does the wax contain allergens?
Our formula avoids common irritants, but it does contain natural resins. If you have a known allergy to tree resins or fragrances, please review the ingredient list carefully and test a small area first.
Can I use Freshfeels if I have eczema, psoriasis, or very dry skin?
We recommend avoiding waxing on broken, irritated, or inflamed skin. For skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, consult with your dermatologist before use.
Is the wax safe for all body areas?
Yes, Freshfeels is designed for both larger areas (legs, arms) and more delicate zones (bikini, underarms, face). Always follow the instructions and patch test first.
How do I know if I shouldn’t use this wax?
Do not wax over sunburned skin, open wounds, active breakouts, or varicose veins. If you’re on medication that thins the skin (such as Accutane), waxing should be avoided until cleared by your doctor.
